Code Lyoko plot

Yumi Ishiyama

Yumi Ishiyama! My favorite character! Yumi is the oldest member of the group and she is mature. Yumi is japanese and she is a bit short-tempered. Yumi is very clever. Yumi's favorite color is black and wears all black until season four, to where she wears a black shirt but has 3 blue flowers around her waist, and her pants are halfway between her ankles and knees. Both of her outfits reveal her stomach.

Why I think CL rocks

The two major themes that revolve around Yumi are her relationship with Ulrich Stern and her parents. Ulrich and Yumi almost kiss in the episode "Routine", but their relationship remains platonic. In the start of season 3, Yumi decudes to declare their relationship just friendship, but then the series finale "Echoes", it implies the two exploring their romantic relationship again.

CL Season Summary

First Season

Throughout the first season, Jeremie works on a program, trying to materialize Aelita and shut down the supercomputer safely. Jeremie later develops the program in the two-part final. Xana takes mesasures and keep Aelita linked to the supercomputer, preventing it from shutdown.

Second season

2nd season continues to first season. Aelita is now materialize and now lives on Earth. She is also attending Kadic, faking as Odd's cousin with a forged birth certificate by Jeremie. Aelita begins to have visions of a life she never had. A man name Franz Hopper is shown to have connections to Lyoko. Not just that, there is also a new student name William Dunbar, who has interest in Yumi. Each member now has a vehicle to guide them through Lyoko. There is also a new sector introduced, Carthage. Xana plans to steal Aelita's memories by the Scyphozoa.

Third Season

Aelita had her memories returned by Franz Hopper. She even has a new power to defend herself on Lyoko, energy fields. Yumi also decided against having a relationship with Ulrich, but only a friendship.

In the sector 5, the group finds out Xana's plot to destroy it. The group realize, just the four won't do, they need help, so they decided to add in William Dunbar, just to balance things out. In Lyoko, William's first trip to Lyoko, Xana uses the Scyphozoa to possess him. Xana uses William to destroy and help him out, trying to get rid of the Lyoko warriors.

Fourth Season

Lroko is recreated, allowing the group to continue tracking Xana. Jeremie created a submersible ship called the Skidbladnir, allowing the group to travel in the digital sea. They find a new monster/creature called "Replikas". Each of these Replikas are controlled by another supercomputer. To stop Xana once and for all, Jeremie devises a way to materialize his friends at the site of each supercomputers with their Lyoko abilities. The group has new outfits and weapon in this season. William DUnbar is eventually free of Xana, Franz Hopper gives up his life to help in stopping Xana. Xana is defeated and the group finally turns off the supercomputer, making it the final season.

Code Lyoko is a french animated television series. It premiered on Sept. 3, 2003. It was produced by MoonSchoop Group. The series has airied over 160 countries.

It was first broadcast in the Untied States in Cartoon Network's Miguizi block on April 19, 2004. The series is on a hiatus midway in the 4th season, the final. There are over 97 episodes and can be either seen on YouTube or any Code Lyoko site.
